Botanic Healthcare, a global leader in nutraceutical innovation, has commissioned an RO Water Plant in Thallasingaram Village, Hyderabad, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The plant, with a capacity of 1 kilolitre per hour, will provide clean and safe drinking water to more than 1,000 residents every day, addressing the critical challenge of potable water scarcity in the region.

The project forms a key part of Botanic Healthcare’s community development efforts, aimed at improving access to essential resources and enhancing public health infrastructure in rural areas. By ensuring a consistent supply of purified drinking water, the initiative is expected to reduce the risk of waterborne diseases and improve the overall quality of life for the residents of Thallasingaram Village. The company has also engaged local community representatives to support the ongoing maintenance and long-term sustainability of the plant.

Commenting on the initiative, Madhu Krishnamani, Founder & Managing Director, Botanic Healthcare said, “Access to clean water is one of the most fundamental enablers of public health and sustainable progress. At Botanic Healthcare, we believe that corporate responsibility extends beyond business, it is about building ecosystems where people and nature can thrive together. By commissioning this plant, we aim to make clean water a shared reality, not a privilege. Our goal is to create enduring social value through purposeful action, inspiring industries to move beyond transactional CSR to transformative impact.”

The RO Water Plant will be maintained in collaboration with local community representatives to ensure long-term sustainability and operational efficiency. The initiative also contributes to India’s national water conservation goals and aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6 Clean Water and Sanitation, reaffirming the company’s dedication to environmental and social stewardship.

Botanic Healthcare has consistently undertaken projects in the areas of public health, education, and environmental protection, creating measurable community outcomes through its CSR programs. The Thallasingaram initiative further strengthens the company’s vision of inclusive and sustainable growth.
